Surface Requirements

When assessing the area coverage needed, it is important to calculate the depth and area based on the equipment to be installed. This is done through assessing the critical fall height and adjusting the thickness of the surface accordingly.

The higher a piece of equipment is from the ground, the further a child could fall, and the wider area is needed to be protected. Differing rules apply to each type of equipment. The simplest way to establish the critical fall heights is to ask us. We will be pleased to advise you.
