Pelton Community Primary School, Durham – Wetpour Surface

Pelton Primary School wanted to make their inner courtyard area an attractive, low maintenance space to conduct outdoor activities and lessons. Working closely together we created an eye catching, colourful design using both black and colour.

As the area was accessible only by internal corridors the works were carried out during half term to minimize disruption and full protective sheeting was used to cover the internal floors. Abacus utilised the existing paving slabs as a sub-structure and incorporated a ramp from the double doors into the area making it accessible for everyone.
